Wahrschau

April 2020: The theater is a ruin, no one can come.

This assemblage of film (Helena Ratka), dance (Jenny Beyer) and text (Jetzmann) is a reaction to the absence of an audience. Who is the dancer dancing for here? Is there such a thing as digital closeness? Wahrschau, a warning call used by sailors and dockers, is a comment about our forced isolation brought on by the virus.

Working about proximity during pandemic times of distance, June 2020. In collaboration with Helena Ratka (video) and Jetzmann (sound)
