Two Solos
Uniek takes a close look at the solo and an even closer look at the soloists themselves. Inspired by ballet competitions such as the Prix de Lausanne, Chris Leuenberger and Jenny Beyer have created two solos for each other in order to compare and duplicate themselves in turn. Jenny uses Chris to talk about virtuosity, beauty and elegance, Chris uses Jenny in order to face his confusion about his masculinity, both of them tiptoeing between the fear of failure and the joy of seduction.
