Dear companions of the OPEN STUDIOS,

What does proximity mean right now? - I asked that in my last email to you and this is also the question of my project with students of the Master Contemporary Dance Education / Frankfurt, which I started two weeks ago. The students accompany my artistic process as part of the OPEN STUDIO for one year.

Originally the students were supposed to come to Hamburg in June to prepare an OPEN STUDIO for you together with me. This is not possible at the moment. Instead, the students and I worked online and found other ways of meeting.

I am therefore very happy to finally be able to announce an OPEN STUDIO again:

On June 9th from 6: 00-7: 00 p.m. you are invited to meet us in the digital room.

In this first digital OPEN STUDIO we share an online encounter training with you. We share exercises and possibilities of how we can be close to each other, connected and communal despite separate rooms. My long-time artistic partners Chris Leuenberger and Nina Wollny, who are at the moment in Switzerland and Norway, will be with us in the digital space.

Please write to me if you want to be there so I can estimate how many we will be.
