we cordially invite you to our next OPEN STUDIO with Sina Saberi on Wednesday, 16 October, from 6–8 pm at Studio Alte Post.

On 16 October, choreographer and cultural manager Sina Saberi from Tehran will lead the OFFENE STUDIO. After Virginia ‘Aura’ Lewerissa and Renée Reith, Sina is the third person this year to do a residency at the ‘Alte Post’ studio. He now lives in Germany and his practice and research are strongly inspired by his cultural background and centre around dance as an alternative way of being. How can dance and somatic practices be a tool for addressing trauma-induced pain? In his ongoing choreographic study on trauma, Sina Saberi explores how it affects the psychosomatic apparatus and how personal/generational traumas translate into the collective.
