Dear companions of the Open Studios,

we cordially invite you to the next Open Studio on Sunday, 13 November, from 3–5 pm at the Kulturhaus Eidelstedt.

Admittedly: Before our second Open Studio on tour, we were still a bit nervous – but above all very curious! Who will we meet? Who is curious about contemporary dance? What wishes and experiences do the participants bring with them?

Fortunately, our initial nervousness quickly faded, as we were able to meet many great residents from Eidelstedt and the surrounding area and even welcome long-time companions of the Open Studios in the Kulturhaus. The visit of the Hamburg neighbourhood broadcaster noa4 was also very special for us, as they collected some very nice impressions of our meeting. You can watch the whole video here: >>> to the video

This Sunday Jenny invites you together with the dancer Israel Akpan Sunday from her new piece ENSEMBLE (premiere: 18 January '23 | Kampnagel Hamburg) and the musician Jetzmann to physically explore the relationship of the individual to the group and to create something common – and at the moment unique – through dance.

This Open Studio will be our last visit to the Kulturhaus this year. After two beautiful "pilot episodes" we are looking forward to even more regular dates in Eidelstedt in 2023!
