Dear companions of the OPEN STUDIOS,

On Friday, July 25, from 6–8 PM, we warmly invite you to the last OPEN STUDIO before the summer break at Studio Alte Post!

This session will focus on my upcoming piece ZURÜCK ZU ALI, which will premiere on March 30, 2026, at Kampnagel.
ZURÜCK ZU ALI is a solo dance piece about my grandfather Walter “Ali” Beyer, who fought in the resistance against National Socialism. The project combines personal memory with political research and explores how a family history can move through the body of a granddaughter and performer.
My body becomes a surface of remembrance: I connect biographical investigation with the question of what his story means to me – and to our time – today.

I’m still at the very beginning of this challenging process and look forward to exchanging questions, movements, and thoughts with you.
